Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic

Join our award-winning service team as a full-time Automotive Technician carrying out servicing and repairs to a wide range of motor vehicles.

Located in Lismore, Northern NSW, we are just a short drive to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.

As an industry-leading repairer, we have an excellent reputation for outstanding customer service providing quality service and repairs. With one of the best equipped workshops on the Northern Rivers we offer a wide range of automotive services including all general servicing, vehicle inspections, registration inspections, electronic tune-ups, EFI diagnostics, engine and emissions testing, gearbox overhauls, brake and clutch repairs, steering and suspension, transmissions, exhaust, batteries, wheel balance, computer wheel alignment, radiator repairs, vehicle diagnostics, air conditioning, common rail diesel - all using state of the art equipment and the latest in vehicle diagnostic technology. You will be involved in all aspects of automotive repairs and servicing, across a wide variety of makes and models.

As a valued member of our team, you will have proven experience in the service and repair of motor vehicles and a genuine interest in ongoing learning. You should also have excellent communication and customer liaison skills.

This position requires a professional attitude, attention to detail, job accuracy, good organisational skills, ability to work within time frames and follow established procedures, with a commitment to outstanding customer service.

The essential requirements for this position are:

Current Drivers Licence
Certificate III qualified Automotive Technician – MVRIA Trade Certificate

Preferably, you will also have:

NSW RMS AIS Authorised Examiner Licence
Air Conditioning Certificate II
Other trade qualifications and licences eg AUVIS Examiner, Forklift Licence.
Previous experience in EFI, air-conditioning, brake repairs, wheel alignment and balance, steering and suspension and cooling systems would be preferred.
Please note: If these Licences are not currently held, we may be able to assist you in obtaining them on the job, or as required.

$30.00 per hour + Tool Allowance + Super + Uniform provided
